- gold, turquoise, clay, enamel,
comprising: a gold and enamel Art Deco cigarette case, reeded with black enamel ornament and sides, apparently unmarked, 9.7cm., 3 7/8 in; a German gold cigarette case, opening as an envelope, engraved in a brick pattern, maker’s mark CH, numbered 61302, 11cm., 4 3/8 in.; and an engine-turned gold box, maker’s mark illegible, probably German, in suede pochette stamped for Koch /Franfurt a/M / Baden-Baden, 8cm., 3 1/8 in. wide; four gold tie pins: one set with turquoise beads, one enamelled as a polo stick, one with clay seal, and another; two chained gold good luck charms, one in the form of a horse shoe, the other inscribed and dated August 1928
Condition
Overall good, the Art Deco example chipped to enamel, engine-turned gold box dented on both sides.

Catalogue Note
The Art Deco box engraved inside: 'with loving thoughts', the brick pattern example, dated: 10.XII. 1929, and signed Vera and Richard; the engine-turned box: 19. Dex. 1933. Vera von Weinberg, married in 1915 1st Alexander Markgraf Pallavicini, 2nd in 1921 Paul Count Münster, and after that her 3rd husband was Richard von Szilvinyi, her 4th husband was Dr.Josef Reiss whom she married in 1935. She died 1943. Richard von Szilviniyi married after the war Liselotte (Lilo) von Schnitzler, daughter of Georg and Lilly von Schnitzler, divorced from Dr. Herbert Scholz.
