Description
- A group of three Continental silver snuff boxes, 19th century
- boxwood, silver
- 129.7cm., 4oz 2dwt
one in the form of a shell, chased with strapwork, two maker's marks LH and FS, Hungarian control mark 1806-1807, 6.3cm., 2 1/2 in. wide; one bombé oval, embossed with flowers and fruits, 6.5cm., 2 1/2 in. wide; a rectangular example with bombé sides, silver standard 750, 4.5cm., 1 3/4 in wide ; and a circular boxwood example with silver mounts, South German, 18th century, 6cm., 2 3/8 in. diameter
Condition
1: box's not closing properly

3. repair to hinge and split along rim to front
