  • A Fürstenberg porcelain snuff box, German, circa 1765
  • porcelain, glass, metal
  • 8.3cm., 3 1/4 in. wide and 6.3cm., 2 1/2 in. wide
oval with bombé lid, painted overall and inside the lid with Watteau scenes, later gilt-metal mounts and a gilt-mounted opaque glass snuff box, probably German, second half of 18th century, painted with a figure in a landscape, the sides and base with flowers, with label 'Corning Museum of Glass'
