This miniature is in very good condition. The glass is a little dirty.

Catalogue Note
Stylistiquement, cette miniature peut être datée des années 1785, période durant laquelle Augustin, tout juste dans ses vingts ans, venait de quitter la Lorraine pour s’installer à Paris.
Cette miniature a fait partie de la collection du professeur Dressann, dont le remarquable ensemble comprenait plusieurs facettes de l’histoire de l’art illustrées par quelques 1300 pièces.
