  • marked I.Burt with slanted capitals in cartouche (Kane mark B).
  • height 3 5/8 in.
  • 9.2 cm
one stamped with a swan, the other with fleur-de-lys to indicate alignment of covers, one only partly pierced, both bases engraved Mary * Cutt.

Condition

partly pierced one with handle resoldered at top and base, tiny holes above base band, the piercing probably added as this was originally blind; the fully pierced one with small rim split hidden by cover, tiny split in top molding, handle may have been resoldered otherwise good, very rare to have a matching pair
