Gorham's Martelé archives indicate that this pair of compotes were completed on July 15, 1911 and had a net factory price of $97.50. They were raised in 31 hours by makers James A. MacKenzie or William H. MacKenzie & Wendell G. Arnold and then chased for an additional 44 hours by chaser Edward Zior Sr. (Pristo, 2002, p. 438).
