the globular body finely molded with three pecten shells surrounded with oak leaves and acorns, splashed with blue slip.
Condition
The rim edge of the teapot is restored, possibly covering short haircrack/s or small rimchip/s. There is an approximate 1/8-inch haircrack running down from the tip of the spout. There is a tiny abrasion/chip to the lower terminal of the handle and three small areas with firing-related speckles and glaze abrasions along the handle. The cobalt blue has misfired in one place on the body, giving the appearance of a small burst bubble. There is a tiny chip to one paw foot and another foot has a tiny chip to the underside of the foot, hardly visible from the exterior. The cover is in good condition.
