the exterior of the baskets and the rim of the stands molded with basketwork, the pierced cartouches issuing branches of leafy grapes and pears beneath the valanced edge.
Condition
Baskets: One basket has one of the handles broken off and restored back; the overspray extends to both sides. The other basket has an approximate 4 by 2 in. section at the rim broken off and restored back. The restorations are well done.
Stands: One stand has an approximate 1-1/2-inch haircrack running from one of the bottom pierced diamonds at the rim down to the cavetto and curving at the bottom. The other has an approximate 2-inch running from the rim through the piercings down towards the base.
