each of compressed globular form and divided into five lobes, the jars joined by three foliate-form appliques to the shoulders, the covers recessed with flat rim and bud knop, the body covered with transparent glaze draining to a greenish tone, with wood stands and one wood cover (6)

Collection of Emanuel Gran, acquired in Beijing, 1920-1940.

Condition

One of the jarlets has been broken and is now missing approximately 2/3 of the body and the remaining 1/3 has restored breaks, another jarlet has a long C-form hairline crack from the rim and a chip to the rim approximately 1 cm x 1 cm and several chips to the foot, the third jarlet is in overall good condition. The flowers with two petals missing and the tip of another petal chipped. One cover is missing, another has chips to the rim and the third has a small chip to the inner rim.
