the gently rounded sides rising to a incurved rim, the interior russet splashes against a 'hare's fur'-type black glaze, the exterior with a rust-colored slip over the dark glaze, stopping neatly above the foot to reveal the buff body, Japanese wood box (2)

In very good condition. The exterior with numerous small burst glaze bubbles. Very minor firing imperfections elsewhere.
