Condition
Not viewed out of the frame. Original canvas. The canvas undulates very slightly at both the upper and lower right corners, but otherwise appears sound. There are some extremely minor scattered lines of craquelure apparent only upon very close inspection, visible in the bottom right corner, to the right of the incised line in the light purple pigment towards the centre, to the green pigment at the lower centre of the work, and to the dark purple pigment at the left of the work. There is a spot of studio detritus in the upper right corner. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is presented in a painted wooden frame, held under glass.
