Condition
The board has been unevenly cut, with rounded corners, most noticeably in the upper left corner. There is a slight compression to the bottom left corner.
There is minor surface dirt and traces of very light studio detritus apparent, with a few small, scattered light surface scratches visible upon extremely close inspection, including but not limited to, two parallel lines in the upper left quadrant, a vertical rub to the centre of the upper half of the composition and a vertical loss to the lower left of the bowl. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals a few small traces of fluorescence which appear in keeping with the nature of the Artist's materials and do not suggest retouching.
Housed in a thick, silvered wooden frame.
