Condition
Tree and Grass: The sheet is affixed to the mount with two tabs at the upper horizontal edge. There are some very slight soft creases to the sheet, most prominent towards the upper horizontal edge, including one horizontal crease running the width of the sheet, only visible when viewed unframed, and further very light creases in the lower right quadrant. There is some light surface dirt across the sheet, and traces of light studio detritus. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition, with strong, fresh colours throughout.
The work is framed and glazed, window-mounted and housed in a simple aluminium frame.
Poster: Unframed. There is some slight creasing to the sheet towards the upper horizontal edge, and also some very light surface dirt. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition.

Catalogue Note
To be sold together with the exhibition poster for the 1st International Print Biennale, 23rd November 1968 - 19th January 1969, at Bradford City Art Gallery and Museums, Yorkshire. The present work was the original drawing for this poster.
Robert Scott Simon was Works Manager at the Curwen Press which printed the exhibition poster for the Print Biennale free of charge. Rosemary Simmons was on the Advisory Committee which set up the International Print Biennle and as Managing Director of Curwen Prints Ltd, she commissioned many eminent artists to make lithographs.
