Condition
Four canvases framed as one. Not viewed out of the frame. Original canvas. The canvas appears sound. There is some rubbing and very small losses around the extreme edges of the canvas. There is some craquelure in the oil and tempera. There are some scattered areas of small possible losses. There is some light surface dirt and studio detritus across the work. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is float-mounted in a simple, square profile painted wooden baguette frame which is divided into two separate sections for ease of transport.
