Condition
The sheet is not fully laid down, but is partially adhered to a wooden backing board. There is cockling to the sheet, with deckled edges, in keeping with the nature of the Artist's paper. There is a vertical gathering to the right hand side of the composition, again, in keeping with the artist's techniques and materials. There is very slight staining to the extreme edges, not visible in the present mount, but this excepting the work appears in very good overall condition, with strong, vivid colours throughout.
Housed behind glass in a thick light wooden frame, set within a cream card mount.
Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
