Condition

Not viewed out of the frame. The sheet appears to be affixed to a backing card, but it is not possible to view how this has been done. The sheet appears sound. The sheet has an uneven edge, which appears inkeeping with the artist's working materials. There appears to have been a very slight scuff to the surface of the sheet at the top of the black circle in the upper right quadrant. There appear to be areas of light craquelure scattered across the sheet, cupping slightly in places, and which has resulted in some very small flecks of loss, scattered across the sheet. There is some very light studio detritus across the work. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good condition, with strong and bright colours throughout. The work is float-mounted in a square-profile painted wooden frame, held under glass. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
