Condition
The masonite board appears to be stable. On close examination there is evidence of some reticulation, particularly in the white, black and yellow pigments. There are several scuffs in the orange pigment at the lower left of the composition and some knocks with associated paint loss in the white and grey pigments towards the lower right horizontal edge. These appear to have occurred while the paint was still wet. There is evidence of some surface dirt and studio detritus across the piece. Overall the work appears to be in excellent condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of florescence or retouching.
The work is presented in a white painted frame.
