Condition
The artist's card is taped into a window mount. There are some creases in the lower left quadrant of the board which have caused the surface to become uneven. There are several other areas across the card where the surface has been scuffed, knocked and scored which appear to be in line with the artist's working method. There is one scuff to the top of the hallow that has resulted in a paint loss. There is a further area of scuffing and possible repair to the far right side of the cross. On close examination it is possible to see some areas of staining across the lower part of the composition and along the right vertical edge, extending inwards towards the centre of the composition. There are traces of surface dirt and studio detritus across the work. Subject to the above the work appears to be in good overall condition.
The work is presented in a window mount and painted white frame.
