Condition
The work is in good condition overall as viewed. The canvas is clear and taut and the paint layers are well preserved. Minor wear and handling is evident on the corners but does not detract from the overall quality of the painting. Examination under ultraviolet light shows gentle retouching on the top left quadrant (sky), the middle register (figure walking in the distant) and on the bottom right quadrant. However, this is not visible with the naked eye. Framed.
