Condition

This work is in very good and sound condition overall. There is light wear to the exterior of the handmade box. The handmade beaded frame displays open miters at the upper corners and at the lower left corner. The white paint in interior of box exhibits craquelure consistent with the artist’s intent. All further inconsistencies in the interior, such as the curling of the painted paper, appear inherent to the work and to the artist's working method.
