Oil on canvas, lined. Not framed. The picture surface is flattened but in overall very good condition aside from a stable web of craquelure and some thinness. Some minor abrasions along the right edge and some discoloration, possibly from a quickly applied varnish, at lower center. Under UV light, there is retouching to address abrasion and craquelure in the subject's proper left check and neck, chest and both arms.
