Condition
Oil on canvas. The canvas is slack and there are areas of bumping. Two vertical lines of bumping - one near the left edge and one to the right of the Virgin and Child - may be related to previous stretcher bars. The surface is dirty with a discolored varnish. There are areas of loss in the lower right corner. Minor lines of abrasion along the right edge as well. Under UV light, the varnish is difficult to read through. There is a minor area of inpaiting along the lower center edge.
