  • 72cm. high, 41cm. wide, 36cm. deep; 2ft. 4½in., 1ft. 4¼in., 1ft. 2¼in.
with a three-quarter galleried top above three drawers, the top drawer fitted with a leather-lined writing slide and receptacles for writing implements, inkpot and sander, on square tapering legs joined by a shelf on gilt-bronze block feet, the whole inlaid with trelliswork enclosing flowerheads, bearing the stamp R.V.L.C.

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. The colours are more vibrant and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Writing slide in top drawer slightly warped. Minor tarnishing to gilt-bronze receptacles. Very slight warping to stretcher.
