former engraved with a coat of arms and inscribed The Gift of ye Corporation of Shoemakers Tobias Lewis, Master, 1725, with scratch weight 29 = 8½, other also engraved with a coat of arms and motto God maintain our right, scratch weight on underside of foot 29 = 9

Condition

1724: Overall wear and a dent in neck, foot slightly pushed into body and with repair; 1723: Overall wear, dents, marks are clear, but maker's mark worn, repairs to foot
