- Wool pile
including a Tabriz rug, Northwest Persia, circa 1890, the central oval beige patterned medallion in a shaped butterscotch patterned field with pelmeted corners, within two narrow and a broad beige patterned border (approximately 189 by 128cm; 6ft. 2in., 4ft. 2in.), and a Kashan kurk rug, Central Persia, circa 1890, the pale madder field with a large ivory reserve enclosing an indigo flowerhead medallion, overall floral sprays, within pale indigo border of palmettes (approximately 207 by 131cm; 6ft. 9in, 4ft. 3in.), and a Kashan silk rug, Central Persia, circa 1950, the ivory field with overall scrolling vinery, within a palmette ivory border (approximately 223 by 123cm; 7ft. 4in., 4ft.), and a Malayer runner, Northwest Persia, circa 1910, the indigo herati field within a turtle palmette ivory border (approximately 498 by 99cm; 16ft. 4in., 3ft. 3in.)

Condition
A Tabriz rug, Northwest Persia, circa 1890, (approximately 189 by 128cm; 6ft. 2in., 4ft. 2in.). Slightly irregular size, curling under at sides, with 1mm pile down to knot bars in areas, with damage in top right corner and top end guard overlocked after losses. Lower end lacking end guard.
A Kashan kurk rug, Central Persia, circa 1890, (approximately 207 by 131cm; 6ft. 9in, 4ft. 3in.). Pile 2mm and down to knot-heads in areas. Damaged in both top left and top right corners, with splits, in need of attention.
A Kashan silk rug, Central Persia, circa 1950, (approximately 223 by 123cm; 7ft. 4in., 4ft.). Slightly irregular size. Even 3mm pile overall. Small looses to lower right corner. Overall fair condition. Would benefit from a thorough clean.
A Malayer runner, Northwest Persia, circa 1910, (approximately 498 by 99cm; 16ft. 4in., 3ft. 3in.). Some areas of wear, with spot foundation visible. Some oxidisation and old moth damage.
