Description

- The parrots each 21.5cm., high; 8½ in.; total height: 23cm., 9in.
each with a parrot of mirror image modelled standing on a pierced rock base, the birds covered in a rich turquoise glaze and leaving the beak and feet unglazed, the base applied with an aubergine glaze, mounted with gilt-bronze candelabra, further embellished with European porcelain flowers on a shaped base cast with gekko, foliage and snails

Condition
In overall good conserved condition. Very minor chips to some of the porcelain flowers which are hardly noticeable. Some flowers have possibly been replaced. There is a missing branch on one candelabrum and one flower on the same one missing and another flower on another branch same candelabrum.
Both parrots in good condition with the exception of minor glaze crackle and firing imperfections. One bird with minor glaze wear along the spine of the bird, and loss to the black enamels on the eyes.
