The pendants composed of two jadeite drops measuring approximately 31.8 by 9.8 by 9.8 mm and 32.9 by 9.8 by 9.8 mm, suspended from links applied with black enamel, decorated with single-cut diamonds, completed by tops set with two jadeite cabochons, signed Cartier, Paris, numbered 0337; circa 1925.

Condition

In good condition. Losses to the enamel exposing the gold ground as seen in the catalogue illustration, though not readily apparent when worn. (If desired, Sotheby's can recommend an enamellist in the New York area.) In otherwise good condition. The opaque jade drops are a medium-light, very slightly bluish green with minor areas of whitish and deeper green color mottling. The diamonds are near colorless and decorative in quality. Signed by the round jade cabochon on one earring, numbered on the pendant caps to both earrings. Approximately 2 7/8 inches. Accompanied by GIA report no. 1176345165 stating that the jadeite jade is of natural color, with no indications of impregnation.
