18 Karat Gold, Emerald, Diamond, Colored Stone and Cultured Pearl Necklace, Bulgari

Centering an oval-shaped sugarloaf cabochon emerald, supported by a multi-strand necklace spaced by diamond-set links, the round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 29.50 carats, composed of numerous ruby and sapphire beads, spaced at intervals with cultured pearls, further set with buff-top rubies and sapphires, gross weight approximately 124 dwts, length 14¾ inches, signed Bulgari.

In good condition. The gold displays minor scratching commensurate with wear. The emerald is a medium-light, slightly bluish green color, with moderate inclusions, some of which are surface-reaching but do not affect the stability of the stone. The ruby beads are medium, purplish red and moderately to heavily included and the faceted rubies are purplish red and eye-clean. The sapphire beads are medium, very slightly purplish blue and slightly to moderately included and the faceted sapphires area medium-deep, very slightly purplish blue and are eye-clean. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VVS-VS clarity. The pearls have good luster with pink, green and gold overtones, range from round to slightly oval in size and very few exhibit blemishing in the form of pitting. One strand of ruby beads appears to be broken and several strands of both rubies and sapphires exhibit slight fraying where the strings end. The necklace fits very snugly but comfortably fits an 13 inch neck.
