The lavaliere-style necklace composed of numerous seed pearls, with two openwork tapered plaques suspending two natural pearl drops, the white natural pearl measuring approximately 10.1 by 9.4 mm, the dark gray natural pearl measuring approximately 8.8 by 8.6 mm, with old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.00 carats, length 23 inches; circa 1918.

Condition

In good condition. The variously shaped seed pearls display a creamy white to cream body color with moderate rose and peach overtones, fair to good luster and moderate blemishing such as pitting and peeling, not apparent when worn. The white natural pearl drop displays a creamy white body color with soft rose overtones, good luster and minute blemishing. The gray natural pearl drop has a dark gray body color with strong green and soft rose overtones, fair to good luster and moderate blemishing. The diamonds range from approximately G-J color, predominantly VS clarity with a few examples of SI clarity stones. Length approximately 23 inches, fitted with a safety latch. Accompanied by GIA report no. 6173345278 stating that the two pearl drops are natural, saltwater. Please note the seed pearls have not been tested for natural origin.
