18 Karat Gold, Cultured Baroque Pearl, Colored Stone and Diamond Brooch, Van Cleef & Arpels

Designed as a warrior wielding a shield and sword, the torso composed of a cultured baroque pearl measuring approximately 25.5 by 18.4 by 14.2 mm, accented by round and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.00 carats, further accented by rubies, emeralds, turquoises and pearls, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered NY 27020.

In good condition overall with some slight discoloration to the gold, mainly on the reverse. The baroque cultured pearl has a silvery white body color with soft pink, purple and green overtones, fair luster and moderate to heavy blemishing such as pitting, wrinkled skins, cracking and patches of discoloration. The diamonds range from approximately G-I color, predominantly VS-SI clarity. The rubies are a medium to medium-deep slightly purplish red to pinkish red, and moderately included. The emeralds are a medium very slightly bluish green and moderately included. The turquoises are medium slightly greenish blue with some minor matrix visible and a significant chip to one of the stones, not visible when worn. The small pearls range from a light silvery gray to silvery white body color with moderate pink and purple overtones, fair to good luster and minor blemishing. Gross weight approximately 22 dwts, dimensions approximately 2 1/4 by 2 inches. One small pearl missing.
