Jadeite and Diamond Pendant Necklace

The jadeite plaque of translucent emerald green colour, carved with maggots and cherry blossoms, to the surmount set with circular-cut diamonds, completed by a jadeite bead necklace, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold, length approximately 490mm.

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the carved jadeite pendant is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the carved jadeite pendant has good translucency, of soft to medium emerald green colour. Upon strong illumination, there are white cloud inclusions. Small jadeite beads on the necklace are about medium emerald green colour, with slightly patchy white and brownish inclusions, not noticeable in normal lighting. Diamonds together weighing approximately 0.35 carat, are about J to K colours, SI clarity. Condition: Karat blackened gold mount, with signs of wear, overall in good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US.
