Description
- colour-changing sapphire, diamond, platinum
Centring on a cushion-shaped colour-changing sapphire weighing 10.06 carats, surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds together weighing approximately 2.65 carats, mounted in platinum. Ring size: 6
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to AGL report, the colour-change sapphire is natural, of Ceylon origin, with no indication of heating and clarity enhancement. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the sapphire has noticeable colour-changing effect, from purple hue in incandescent light, to violetish blue colour in daylight; eye clean with lively brilliance. Upon 10x loupe, there is a feather close to girdle, but not seen to naked eyes. Diamonds are about G to H colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Platinum ring mount, in mint condition.

Accompanied by AGL report numbered CS 64440, dated 17 November 2014, stating that the 10.06 carat colour-changing sapphire is natural, of Sri Lankan (Ceylon) origin, colour changing from violetish blue (daylight) to purple-pink (incandescent light), with no gemological evidence of heat.
