Condition
Original canvas. The work appears in excellent overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals some very minor traces of fluorescence and possible retouching to the face of the central figure, with one or two tiny flecks appearing to the extreme edges, possibility in line with a previous framing. These are all very sensitively executed.
Housed in a thick gilt and wooden frame.
