Condition
Watercolour and pencil on paper: the sheet is affixed to a backing card with tabs at the upper horizontal edge. The sheet has several pin holes along the upper horizontal edge, two towards the upper left corner and one towards the upper right corner, each with a very small associated tear. The left hand vertical edge of the sheet is uneven, most probably inkeeping with the artist's working method. There are several slight creases to the sheet, most prominent towards the lower right corner. There is some minor surface dirt and studio detritus across the work. The colours appear strong, and subject to the above, the work appears to be in good condition.
Pencil on tracing paper: the sheet is affixed to the mount with two tabs at the upper horizontal edge. The edges of the sheet are uneven, most probably inkeeping with the artist's working method. There are several tears to the extreme edges of the sheet, at the upper left hand corner and along the lower horizontal edge, only visible when viewed unmounted. There is a horizontal crease running the width of the drawing in the center of the sheet, and two further very minor creases towards the right hand corner, and some minor undulation across the sheet. There is some minor surface dirt and studio detritus across the work.
The works are framed and glazed as one, window-mounted and housed in a simple painted wooden frame.
