Princeton, Princeton University Art Museum, The Stanley J. Seeger Jr. Collection, June 1961, cat. no.103, illustrated.
Condition
Not examined out of frame. The sheet is attached to a supporting board and undulates very mildly. There are pin holes at the upper corner, consistent with the artist's working method. There are also some very minor scuffs and crease at the extreme edges of the sheet. On close examination it is possible to see tiny flecks of paint loss in some of the thicker areas of gouache. Traces of surface dirt and studio detritus are visible. With the exception of the above the work appears to be in very good and original condition.
The drawing is floated in a window mount and presented in a gilded and wooden frame.
