Condition
The work is imperfect, and has a noticeable defect which was in place before the firing and corresponds to damage inflicted by the Artist. This is visible in a line measuring c.5cm. running down vertically from the top incised banding line. There are traces of in-filling to this area, which are most probably executed by the artist, with further traces of possible concealing pigment to make this imperfection less noticeable. There is a further fine hairline crack, just visible, c.15cm. clockwise from this area, running vertically through the top white band. This is visible upon close inspection. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition.
