Condition
The original artist's board appears to be stable. There is some light dirt and matter across the paint surface, most notably in the pitted areas of the heavy impasto. There appear to be some scuffs and light scratches to areas of the picture, including but not limited to, the lower horizontal band of the composition. There are some very small spots of paint loss in the light pink area of the composition and a larger loss in the heavy impasto at the right of the composition. Subject to the above the work appears to be in good condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is presented in a square profile oak frame.
