Condition

The paper is laid down onto a supporting sheet. The edge of the sheet is uneven. This appears to be consistent with the artist's materials. There is some surface dirt across the sheet, including three small black area in the lower quadrant of the composition. There is a vertical tear, measuring approximately 2.5cm., coming into the composition from the centre of the lower horizontal edge of the sheet. This restoration appears to have been undertaken sensitively. Subject to the above the work appears to be in good condition. The work is presented in a book mount and small wooden frame.
