Condition
This work is in overall good condition. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched; the paint layer is stable overall. Under raking light, stretcher bar marks are visible along the upper and lower edges. Minor frame abrasions are present in the lower left corner. Under ultraviolet inspection, four small areas of in-painting are present in the lower left quadrant near the lower left corner. Additionally, a three-inch horizontal line of in-painting is present in the lower right quadrant near the lower right corner in addition to an area of in-painting running along the far, bottom right edge.
