Condition

This work has been restored quite recently. The panel on which it is painted is flat. The paint layer is stable. It was originally very thinly painted, but the graphic quality to the work particularly in the model may be slightly thin. Under ultraviolet light, there is an area that seems to have been retouched on the right edge of the wooden screen. There are a couple of spots of retouching along the bottom of this same screen. Some retouches have been added in the table beneath the model, and there are quite a significant number of retouches above the figure. It is difficult to believe that all of this retouching is necessary, and it may be advantageous to reexamine the restoration of the work.
