Condition

This work has been recently restored and looks well. The tacking edges of the original canvas have been reinforced to properly stretch the painting onto its original stretcher. The original inscription is clearly visible on the reverse. The painting is cleaned and varnished. Under ultraviolet light, one can see that retouches have been added here and there within the picture to reduce some cracking. The only other retouches are on the extreme left and right edges of the sky, where some frame abrasion has been eliminated.
