Condition

This pair of paintings has been restored. The restoration is not particularly good. The canvases seem to be unlined, but the tacking edges have been reinforced to allow for stretching. In the composition with the water, there are retouches in the sky across the top, on the left side and in the sky above the mountain. The composition with the buildings shows only retouches across the bottom edge. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.) Please note, the correct medium of these two works is oil on canvas mounted on canvas.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
