Condition
The surface of the work seems to be clean and varnished. When viewed under ultraviolet light, one can only see a few tiny isolated spots of retouching in the upper right and a few dots in the center left. A previous restoration seems to have been executed over the original varnish. A second layer of varnish was applied on top of it. There may be retouches beneath an opaque varnish that are not visible under ultraviolet light, but the work can be hung in its current condition.
