Catalogue Note
This work was published in an edition of 10 copies by Ka! Editions in London in 1991. Jac Leirner was, at that time, artist in residence at the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford. The cellophane are the wrappers from a weeks worth of the artist's, then, smoking habit. Thus the title.
Each copy was made by Matthew Tyson with the complicity of the artist who signed and numbered all copies.
