finely cast as a recumbent double-horned buffalo poised with its head raised and mouth open, with a man wearing a hat and serene expression seated atop, his robe flowing over the beast’s robust body, an aperture pierced to the animal’s shoulder, the patina of a warm chocolate brown

Acquired at Portobello Road Antiques Market, London, 1990s.

Condition

The water dropper is generally in good condition, with occasional nicks and surface wear consistent with age and the type.
