- bronze
of long rectangular section with everted sides, supported on a raised openwork frame, the interior boldly cast with a panel of nine cranes in a pond among lotus, the sides decorated in high relief with lotus and sunflower blooms, the sides of the exterior each centred with a diapered pattern between ruyi motifs

Condition
As visible in the catalogue photo, there are bruises to the edges of the tray, and other general surface wear.
