Description

  • bronze
of archaistic lian form, the small cylindrical body resting on three short cabriole legs, the straight sides cast with horizontal fillets, each divided into thinner bands of triple-ribs, the base with an apocryphal four-character Xuande mark within a recessed panel, the patina of a golden-brown colour

Condition

Generally in good condition. There is some light scratching and a few nicks or surface pitting, predominantly around the mouth consistent with age.
