Description

  • bronze
modelled as a recumbent buffalo with its head raised in an alert posture, extending its right foreleg forward, its bushy tail sweeping over its left haunch, pierced above the shoulder and through the mouth to allow the circulation of water

Condition

The water dropper is in overall good condition with just slight surface wear and minor dents in the cast as well as oxidation around the animals' mouth. The actual colour of the bronze is richer than the catalogue illustration.
