- bronze
modelled as a large peach borne on a branch, supported on twisting stems growing undulating leaves that curl around the sides of the plump fruit, the patina of a deep reddish-brown colour
Provenance
Acquired at Portobello Road Antiques Market, London, 1981.
Condition
There is a dented area to one side of the censer, approx. 1 by 1 cm. The incense burner has occasional denting and pitting to the fragile extremities, predominantly along the edges of the leaves, and with some oxidation to the surface.
