  • bronze
the hollow-cast figure depicted seated with folded legs and hands clasped in front of his chest, wearing thick robes with edges chased with a floral border and cascading in folds around his feet, with hair all secured in a bun, eyes open wide in concentration

Provenance

Grays Antiques, London, 1990s.

Condition

The figure is in generally good condition with some pitting and surface wear consistent with age. With small dents on the chin and upper lip intended for a fitted beard fashioned from organic material.
